As a family-run company, we’ve stuck to our roots — which is why alongside our Liverpool office, Dolphin Removals has established a presence in Manchester. When we founded Dolphin Removals as a husband and wife team back in 2000, we created our base in our home city of Liverpool. But with close family ties to Manchester, it felt right to have a second base in this metropolitan city close to our hearts and be able to offer our services to communities and customers there as well.
This past year has seen us expand our services in Manchester even further. As a result of lockdown — and the threat of travel bans — many of the international students based in the city made their way back home quickly, leaving behind belongings in rented accommodations and student halls. Working in partnership with other BAR (British Association of Removers)-registered movers around the world, we were able to empty these accommodations and ship items across the globe, or store belongings in our Manchester-based warehouse facility.
As a metropolitan city — with extensive office buildings and corporate spaces — we’ve spent the past year helping our customers with specialist commercial moves including relocations to new corporate spaces, storage of office furniture during periods of lockdown and more.
We hope to continue to build our reputation for excellence in Manchester, and share our passion for moving with more people, as our business grows in this region.
