We have a world of relocation experience that we want to share with you.

Dolphin Removals is a family-run removals company based in Liverpool and Manchester. Founded in October 2000 by husband and wife team Greg and Angela Hollis, we pride ourselves in the trusted relationships we’ve built with our customers across the North West and around the world.

Our reputation is important to us. Our dedicated, trained and uniformed staff are here to help you throughout the removal process; they’re passionate about moving, which is reflected in the excellent service we provide.

Beyond household moves, we also supply comprehensive corporate and commercial relocation services, moving your specialist equipment from antiques, pianos to medical equipment. We work in partnership with other reputable BAR-registered movers and are therefore able to offer relocation services of all sizes throughout the UK, Europe and internationally. Our secure storage facility offers household, business and archive storage on a long or short term basis.

Born in Berwick upon Tweed, I moved to Germany at 17 to learn the language and train as a translator. I lived and worked there for 18 years. Greg and I originally met at Abbotsholme School and married upon my return from Germany. Dolphin Removals and Storage Ltd. started in October 2000 when we decided to create our own removal business based on Greg’s extensive experience in the moving industry. Having just had our youngest son, this was quite a challenge. So with Baby in tow, we delivered leaflets through doors offering our service and so our business began. Over 2 decades later we are still going strong, providing our customers with a professional removal and storage service within the UK, to Europe and overseas.

I run the office and manage accounts and marketing. I have developed quite a passion for the moving industry and enjoy working with our Dolphin team. Greg and I have created a family run business with values and a caring environment for our customers and staff. We value our environmentally friendly business outlook and always try to employ local people to give something back to our community. We move all our customers with compassion and care and our aim is to make every move a smooth move



I was born in Hong Kong and educated in the United Kingdom. After finishing College I returned to Hong Kong and started work with a US removal firm who had office throughout Asia. I started as all good removal people on the ground floor as a Porter and progressed to be a Surveyor and then Sales Manager. I am experienced in general cargo air freight and shipping. In 1993 I was appointed Sales Manager Philippines where I was responsible for the setting up of the Manila office. 1995 I decided it was time to return to the UK where I joined a prominent national removal company as their Quality Control Manager. It was in October 2000 that my wife and I decided to take the plunge and start our own removal business and founded Dolphin Removals & Storage Ltd.

I take pride in the fact that we started small but have grown and now have the next generation coming in to the business. We are proud to be a BAR member and are the franchise holder for the Bishop’s Move Group covering the regions of Manchester, Liverpool and Cheshire.

Outside of work, I enjoy my time with family and watching as much rugby as I can fit in.

The Survey:

Book a free appointment with one of our experienced surveyors.

While we’re able to conduct surveys in person, we’re pleased to be able to offer video surveys for our customers. Simple, convenient and safe, all you need is a smartphone, tablet or laptop to show us around your home. We’ll take it from there! If you would prefer a survey in person, we can arrange that too.


Making Arrangements:

We’ll evaluate any special arrangements that you may need to help you along the way.

We offer several different packaging services to suit your specific needs. We’re happy to supply you with high quality boxes, tape and packing paper right to your home; alternatively, we can pack your entire household or only your fragile items. Our trained staff are experienced in safely packaging unusual, fragile, bulky and valuable items as well as antiques. Full insurance cover is available.


The Quotation:

We’ll provide you with a formal quotation, with no hidden extras.

You’ll know exactly which services we’re providing you with and the total cost. Complete the house removals acceptance form and return it to our office.



By using a British Association of Removals member (a sign of excellence in our industry), you’re placing your valuable effects in the hands of professional highly-trained specialists who treat your belongings as if they were their own.
